Rank: games and win rate together. Builds are ordered by the lead over games of the same length times games ÷ (games + 30,000), so a build with few games gets less credit for its lead. Number under each icon: win rate difference against items at the same price. Games in this build where the item was bought are compared with games of the same length (5-min steps), then the average of items at the same price is taken away. Expensive items are bought more in games with Souls to spare (winning ones), so only items at the same price are compared. Click an item for its effects and full stats. Win rates shown are for the build group, not for holding all 12 items of the final build at once.

"New player pick" is the style with the highest win rate among those used in 15% or more of games. Win rates also reflect skill gaps, so within 2%p is about even. At first, buy the picked style in order; once comfortable, fit in counter items for the enemy comp.

Abilities

1. Powder Keg Radius 6m

Throw a barrel that explodes after a delay, dealing spirit damage, setting enemies on fire and applying knockup. The barrel can be detonated early by being shot, melee'd, or detonated by another barrel. The burn stacks, so overlapping barrels burn for their combined damage. Can be Alt-Cast to place the barrel in front of Holliday.

Against it: It explodes after a delay, so dodge as soon as you see the barrel

2. Bounce Pad Radius 9m

Drop a bounce pad in the world that launches any hero. You explode on landing, dealing Damage to any nearby enemies. The explosion can only occur once per person per Bounce Pad.

Against it: She flies in off the pad and explodes on landing, so keep away from pads

3. Crackshot Radius 2m

Headshots deal bonus Damage and applies a Fading Move Speed penalty. This effect can only occur when off cooldown. Cooldown is reduced by 50% on NPC hits. Crackshot ignores range damage fall-off and does not apply to objectives.

Against it: Headshots slow you, so don't move in a straight line

4. Spirit Lasso 20m

Throw out your lasso, dealing spirit damage, pulling, and applying stun.Using a Bounce Pad extends the duration of Spirit Lasso.

Against it: It pulls and stuns you: keep your distance from Holliday and stay near cover

Playing against

  • Keep moving instead of standing still to dodge headshots
  • When a Powder Keg lands, get away before it explodes
  • A placed Bounce Pad is an ambush route, so watch it

Counter items

Bullet Resilience

Strengths

  • Crackshot headshots poke at any range
  • Bounce Pad makes ambushes and escapes easy
  • Spirit Lasso pulls enemies in and stuns them

Weaknesses

  • Damage swings a lot with headshot skill
  • Powder Keg gives time to dodge before it blows
  • Struggles in close brawls

Game plan

Laning

Chip enemy health with headshots and clear waves with Powder Keg.

Mid game

Take high ground with Bounce Pad to poke, and look for ambushes in other lanes.

Late game

Deal damage with headshots from range and lasso in enemy damage dealers.

Power spikes

Crackshot makes her strong from the start as long as she lands headshots. Once Spirit Lasso comes in, Bounce Pad ambushes reliably pick off one enemy.

With them on your team

  • Ride Holliday's Bounce Pad with her to join the ambush
  • Focus the enemy pulled in by the lasso right away
