Rank: games and win rate together. Builds are ordered by the lead over games of the same length times games ÷ (games + 30,000), so a build with few games gets less credit for its lead. Number under each icon: win rate difference against items at the same price. Games in this build where the item was bought are compared with games of the same length (5-min steps), then the average of items at the same price is taken away. Expensive items are bought more in games with Souls to spare (winning ones), so only items at the same price are compared. Click an item for its effects and full stats. Win rates shown are for the build group, not for holding all 12 items of the final build at once.

"New player pick" is the style with the highest win rate among those used in 15% or more of games. Win rates also reflect skill gaps, so within 2%p is about even. At first, buy the picked style in order; once comfortable, fit in counter items for the enemy comp.

Against it: The Cube takes no damage, so stop shooting and wait for it to end

3. Puddle Punch 40m

Materialize a fist in the world that punches everyone in the area, applying knockup. Punching an enemy deals melee damage and applies slow. Enemies can Parry this attack. You and your allies have increased Air Control.

Against it: You can Parry the fist as it rises

4. Goo Ball Radius 1.4m

Morph into a large goo ball that deals damage and stuns enemies on impact. The ball grants large amounts of Bullet and Spirit resist, bounces off walls and can double jump.

Playing against

  • Don't stand in goo puddles
  • Puddle Punch can be blocked with Parry, so time it
  • Wait for enemies in The Cube to come out before attacking

Counter items

Spirit Shielding

Strengths

  • Splatter pokes and clears waves
  • The Cube saves an ally or himself from danger
  • Goo Ball goes in tanky and stuns

Weaknesses

  • Can't do anything inside The Cube
  • Puddle Punch can be blocked with Parry
  • Fragile when not in ball form

Game plan

Laning

Clear waves with Splatter while slowing and poking the enemy.

Mid game

Knock enemies up with Puddle Punch and set up kills with allies.

Late game

Roll in with Goo Ball to stun and protect your key ally with The Cube.

Power spikes

Splatter gives strong early poke and wave clear. Once he has Goo Ball, high resists let him roll into team fights and stun.

With them on your team

  • Stay close to Viscous so he can Cube you when you're in danger
  • Deal damage right away to enemies stunned by Goo Ball
